Finally the app is running under apples IPv6 test environment. Let´s see if that´s acceptable.
Most images in virtual worlds are compressed with JPEG2000. This is not downard compatible with JPG.
This “new” standard is not wide spread and there are no libraries to easy implement. The file standard is open source but the explanation on Wiki would take a lifetime to read and understand.
For now MetaChat loads most images perfect while some have a color distortion. This applys only to a few images. Badly, some opengrids that do not use Kakadu-JPEG2000 suffer more from this problem.
We´r working on a fix but meanwhile another build goes to apple for approval – or not.
Maybe this time the app goes life on app-store !!
